Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 4:00 had a bagel with cream cheese and some orange juice. I think the OJ came back to haunt me during the run

Comments:

First time in a wetsuit it felt great. I was actually passing people on the swim so I poured it on. That was a mistake about halfway through the swim I started breathing hard due to the fact that I was swimming faster than my normal pace. I then started to feel very resticted in the wetsuit.

What would you do differently?:

Go at my own pace ignore everyone else.

Course:	My favorite part of this race is the run. Not becauze I am fast but because it's such a great place to run. It's a run on the boardwalk overlooking the ocean warly in the morning, it's beautiful.

It was great meeting you this weekend. That time's not too shabby after shoulder surgery! I'll be running at 0-dark-thirty through the park this Thurs and Sat. Maybe I'll catch you there. More likely, you'll catch me.

Nice race! It was a good one to get started with, that's for sure - it's such a great location for a tri. I'm sorry I didn't find you before the swim start, I must have been too busy yapping with the Mosc sisters and jen and alison! So I'm glad I did at least see you at packet pickup
