F-cking total buzz kill to my day ..... seriously makes me want to cry as the father of three very young boys.

So sad, and seemingly a freak accident, but really, she's lucky to have survived it.  Drains are dangerous, and clearly her family wants others to know to "Stay away from the DRAINS!"

I hope she'll recover as much as possible, the poor kid.

Wow I read a story similar to that a while ago... it's amazing that something that seems so harmless can be so catastrophic.

We put a pool in last year. It has 2 drains in the pool and 2 in the hot tub to prevent this. I even went down and tested it just to feel safe. My daughter has long hair. That can be another thing drains catch.

Horrible for this family and this little girl. Sounds like she's got a great attitude though.
