I live in Greenfield and swim/ride this course regularly.  If anyone wants to check out the course ahead of time I'd be happy to see if we can find a time to go through it together!  It's a sweet, sweet triathlon.

Hi Gwen,

I have already signed up for the Greenfield! It will be my second Tri... I would love to check out the course some time. I have been in that area lots but not lately... Give me some times and dates and lets see if we can get together

How about next Sunday, the 15th?  Late morning, say around 11, would be good.  Or mid-afternoon, around 2:00 could work as well.   I could also do the last week-end in July, but the week-end of the 21st is bad.

I'm considering this one as well - it would be my third!  (I'll be at the Danskin tri the weekend before).   I've never been to Greenfield, though, and would have to find my way around.   What is the course like?

I recommend going and reading the race reports.  It's a nice triathlon.  I do the sprint distance and it's a swim in the improved municipal "pool" (actually a clear shallow river) and then two (or four, for the int'l) loops through country roads, then either another loop running the bike course (for int'l distance) or a pretty flat road run for the sprint distance.

It takes place at a park and there's veggie food afterwards and it's a nice time.

Yup.  I've got three kids.  But my job is part-time this time of year so I get my training in most of the time!

I rarely check the forums, so best way to contact me is to leave a comment in my training log.
