Run
Comments: Felt strong for first 4 miles, died a little towards the end. Stomach felt a little too full. What would you do differently?: Start off a little slower and eat less or earlier. Post race
Warm down: Stretched 5-10 minutes, walked back to my apt What limited your ability to perform faster: Stomach felt full, and muscles were a little sore from lifting Event comments: My first 10K! Did a couple of marathons before, but its nice to do a race that doesn't require a recuperation week. The run had a Rocky impersonator who was really good. He had on make up to look like he just got out of a fight and at first I didn't know it was supposed to be Rocky so I just thought he had gotten beat up. There was also motivational Rocky music along the way and it started at the steps that Rocky ran up. The run also raised money for autism which was cool. By the way - GO ASTROS, BEAT THE ROCKIES!!!!
