Total Time = 1h 21m 48s
Overall Rank = 164/375
Age Group = M20-24
Age Group Rank = 7/9
Pre-race routine:

Woke up and had a small bowl of granola cereal. Should have eaten a bit more and gone to the bathroom.
Event warmup:

Waited forever in the pool building. Someone actually came back in who had already finished by the time I got in the water.
Swim
  • 06m 23s
  • 300 yards
  • 02m 08s / 100 yards
Comments:

Passes two people and got passed by two. This is my first swim since my last race, so considering that I think I did well.
Transition 1
  • 01m 18s
Comments:

Accidentally made one of my shoes pop off while hopping on and had to go back and get it. 2nd Fastest though and I put on an extra pair of bib shorts.
Bike
  • 46m 14s
  • 14 miles
  • 18.17 mile/hr
Comments:

Drank a lot (Two 24 ounce bottles) and it still didn't seem like enough. My legs were definitely tired from the century yesterday, so those hills weren't very welcoming. Drinking that much made my T2 suffer.
Transition 2
  • 01m 58s
Comments:

Forgot to take off my shoes early enough, so I had to unclip and walk a bit in my bike shoes. My stomach was filled with water, so I took my time getting things done.
Run
  • 25m 53s
  • 2.9 miles
  • 08m 56s  min/mile
Post race
Warm down:

Ate 3 full bowls of spaghetti. That was a much welcomed alternative to normal post race food.

Great job the race after riding 100 miles the day before! That's so cool that you and your Dad raced together! I would have loved to hear about his race afterwards... too bad I didn't see him.

Well, be proud... you rocked it!

That's REALLY cool that you're doing this type of stuff with your dad!!!  I'm envious.

Sounds like you had one heck of a weekend.   Good to see you on Sunday.

Good to see you again and excellent performance on Sunday. I noticed you did not put in any comments on your run. It could not have been that bad, could it?
