Subject: Bike group wanted in Charlotte, NC
I am looking for bike riding groups in Charlotte, NC. I live in Ballantyne but am willing to drive if necessary to train with a group. The only time I cannot ride is Mon thru Fri from 7:30 to 5:30pm.

I am also up for some Mt. Biking for fun if possible. I train for tri on my Mt. Bike with slicks but can change the tire to off road anytime.

ALSO:

I have an Olympic size pool I train in for swimming and would not mind a partner to join if anyone need it (before it gets to cold) although it is open year round it is an outdoor pool. This is in southpark area.

There are couple options for you in the Ballantye area:
Morrison YMCA has a Tuesday & Thursday ride at 6pm. Meet at the parking lot.
Try Sports has a Wednesday ride at 6 pm from the store.
Bolt brothers at Waxhaw has a Saturday morning ride at 8am from their store.
All of the above rides have a faster and a slower froup so you can ride according to your level.
If you need their directions check their respective web sites.

Hi there--

I do not know what your training level is but there are two rides near you...

Morrison YMCA Wed 6 pm led by Steve Strand about 16-17 MPH no drop 20 miles
Harris YMCA Friday AM 5:15 average speed, no drop, 17 miles

There is a master's swim team at the Harris YMCA about 30 people T, TH 6 AM Sat 7:30 AM. Great group people!!!

Hey Alyssa,

QCTC hosts a 30/47 mi ride on saturday at 8am starting from InsideOut Sports in Southend. We also do 6pm rides on Tues and Thurs. Tues is A/B groups (no drop), Thurs is A group.

PM me or email my club address if you need more specifics. Also, I'm planning on doing some mtn. biking on sunday if you're up for it.

I can make it next Tues. This week I am doggy sitting and have to walk and feed the pups after work. I don't have my bike with me. DARN IT! I am sitting the dogs to far away to go get it and make todays ride.
