Comments:

Started out trying to pace with the girl who won the race. She was going waaaayyy to fast for my lungs. We must have been doing a 6:15 pace. So I slowed down and ran my own race. stopped at both water stations and took my time to drink. I had some trouble pacing because there was no one around me. I smoked the whole age group. I wonder where all the guys are that did this race last year.

This has got to be the pinncle of my race career. To take 1st overall mens in the 10k is unbelievable. I got a cool trophy and a free Jimmy John's subway and a meddle.

I am totally stoked for the marathon next week.

What would you do differently?:

Nothing.
