Subject: RE: help on homemade pizza crust!!I do something unusual that seems to be a hit with the wife and anyone else that tries it. I just build my pizza on an extra large flour tortilla.
Crank the oven to 450 to 500 and heat up a pizza stone for 20 minutes. I top the tortilla with bbq sauce, chicken, and mixed cheese for one style, or pizza sauce and your other favorite toppings. Cook for 5 minutes and cool on a cooling rack.
I love a thin/crisp crust pizza (St. Louis style ), so it works great for me. The only thing, you can't overload the toppings. |
