This is 1/2 mile swim since race is sponsored by the YMCA Sharks swim team.
What would you do differently?:

Not sure about lasting 1/2 mile, could have moved faster.

Comments:

One thing I did not like about this tri is they did not split out transition times so, my swim & bike times include transition times.

Event comments:

The transition areas were too tightly packed. When I arrived there was hardly room for my bike...this is based on experiences with tris done in Jacksonville and Clermont.
I also don't like the fact that the transitions times are not split out.
I did this tri because I was in Sarasota taking care of issues with my mother, otherwise I wouldn't have participated driving 4.5 hours from Jacksonville.

Great job!!! That's odd about the transition splits. It mess up your other splits. I wonder why it was like that.

I hope everything is okay with your mother.

Great race.  Siesta Key is so beautiful.  I would like to race down there some time.  My parents have a house about 5 minutes from the beach.  I just can't afford to fly down.  Nice Job!
