Hey guys, just found out I'll be joining team 7 and definitly happy to be here! I am currently training for my first sprint triathlons next summer and just getting back into the active life. Also wouldn't mind losing some weight. I am 22 years of age and a student currently.

For the month just want to keep training consistently and stay healthy. Swim, run, bike, and strength training will all be completed twice a week atleast for November . Lets hit some goals guys!

I could see myself maybe being at 25% by the end of tuesday. 25 % of my total goals would be

15 miles biking (already at 11)
10 miles walk/jog (already at 2.3)
1250 yards swim (already at 1000)

I will DEFINITELY get the swim and bike done by tuesday pm at the latest. I may just have to throw in a long long walk (not off a short cliff) to get to 25 % as well.

Team Spreadsheet "Due Dates"

Hi all,

The Challenge started on Nov 1st and ends on Nov 30th. So all of your workouts during the month of November will count.

The first "week" will be longer than 7 days. But the final week will be shorter.

So here are the "weeks" you'll use for reporting your workouts:
Thurs Nov 1 - Sunday Nov 11 *
Mon Nov 12 - Sunday Nov 18
Mon Nov 19 - Sunday Nov 25
Mon Nov 26 - Friday Nov 30

The "progress reports" (aka spreadsheets) will be due from the team leaders on these days:
Monday Nov 12
Monday Nov 19
Monday Nov 26
Saturday Dec 1st

The extra day is so that the team leaders can collect the end information without having to nag their team become overly stressed.

* This does not mean you can wait until Nov 10th to start working out! LOL

Team Leaders - you can post the updated spreadsheets on the main Challenge thread. (This is the one with the push pin sticky. Since it's pinned to the top of the forum, it'll be easier to find. And I think the "chatter" on it will calm down soon.)

And if you're all wondering why your teams are so full.... Well, as of tonight, we have 94 people participating in the challenge!

Thanks Dee - guess I better actually look at the spreadsheet sometime huh?

Im hoping no one minds posting their week end totals (first week ending Nov 11) in the thread for me to pick up... any objections let me know!

I should be 100% back on board tomorrow... things are slowly calming down here...

I've put all the team spreadsheets on Google. This isn't something that people can edit (yet). It's just for viewing purposes. But if someone wants to check their goals, they're all listed here. Just click on your team name to view it.

Each week, I'll update the spreadsheet and upload it to Google again. That way, you can see your progress.

And it was NOT hard to do.

You just upload the spreadsheet, publish it, and set the mode to "Share" so everyone can see it.

If you want people to do their own editing, it's an additional step. (You have to add email addresses.) However, I think I'll do the updating each week, and then upload it myself.

I like it because then everyone can see how they're doing. And you can also see how the other teams are doing, too.

Team 7 is about to have a new member!

JohnDeere has just joined the challenge, and is coming onto your team. I sent him a link via PM, so he can find you.

Cat - I don't have his goals yet. But once he gets here, we can get them.

(Guess this means I'll be updating your Google spreadsheet again! LOL)

Phew long workout today, chock up for me today:
31 miles biked
3.1 miles run (6.5 mph pace).
30 min weight lifting

= 11 miles run, 55 miles biked, 1 hour weights for the first 3 days of the challenge 8).

And I got a 98 percent for my Autism final that I studied for after after lastnights work out.

Hrm 10:00 pm, maybe it is time for dinner and a pillow. I'll catch up on posts tomorrow.

OH and Alyssa I'll race ya to 25 %, although I have tomorrow as a day off and can't really change my schedule to cheat as im already maxing my workouts for my endurance level...
Im at like
Bike 22%
Run 17 %
Liftgin 20% after 3 days ) (my long days .. lots of lite and rest days comin up).

had another little walk/jog this morning. more of a walk then a jog, but still logging miles, and i wasn't going to push it too hard after working 13 hours (gotta LOVE working through the time change)

so i'm at

11.1 miles biking (19%)
7.2 miles jogging (18%)
1000 yd swimming (20%)

IF I am able to get in a workout after working my part time job, I shall be at 25% TODAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY, but, thats pretty unlikely. I may be able to hit the fitness center at work and get the biking and jogging done, but if the pool is closed I'll be out of luck on that. I may have to hop down there Monday and finish the measly 250 yards of swimming that would put me at 25%
