Subject: Strange problem related to non-admin accounts on W2K

I am having a strange problem with Windows 2000 computers. This doesn't happen with all of them, just some. If a user is logged into the computer/domain under a regular user account they log into BT and it says "redirecting" and then kicks them back to the main page and says "You are logged in as guest." It doesn't complete the logon.

If I, as an administrator, log in and do the same thing, no problem. If I do a "run as..." and run the iexplore.exe as an administrator, it works. This happens on some computers, not others.

All updates are applied, including IE SP6.1. Hmmm...maybe java version? Do you use Java?

Thanks so much for this site. I use it every day and am encouraging my students to set up training plans/logs as well.

Thanks. It's not a huge issue so unless you're just sitting around twiddling your thumbs, or suddenly 89 people come on with the same problem, don't knock yourself out.
