Comments: Due to events both in and out of my control, my training has been extremely poor this month. With that being said, I was just going to go on my God given athletic talent. As you can tell, I don't have much of it. As the race started, I decided to hold my own pace and not run with the rabbits. This was the only thing that went right for me. The first half of the race was fairly uneventful. I ran with Justin for the first half. He started to pull away just before the turnaround. The back half of the race was torture for me. Both legs started to ache after the turnaround. I tried to push myself harder but my legs just ached more. With this being the case, I just plodded along to finish. I was 5 minutes slower than last year. I was extremely disappointed in my performance but was extremely happy with Justins first competitive race. What would you do differently?: Train more. Post race
Warm down: Walked around with family, waited for final results to be posted. What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of training. Last updated: 2007-11-22 12:00 AM
