Comments: Such a difficult course. What would you do differently?: Not much. Maybe an energy (NOS) type drink before the race - have been playing with them since this race. Post race
Warm down: Not much. Excited about my finish. Always do a Hammer Recoverite post-race drink. What limited your ability to perform faster: Started cramping 1/2 mile before the end. Got passed , near the finish, by a guy who started in the Clydesdale group 2 minutes behind me. Event comments: MOAB picked up the race when another sponsor dropped it. MOAB did a wonderful job of presenting this race. I was stoked to end the season with a 4th place in Sport class! Yeah, there was a DNF or two in front of me, but still, I gave this race my absolute best! Last updated: 2007-12-02 12:00 AM

Same Hammer Sustained Energy 3 hours pre-race. A bit of Hammer Gel 10 minutes before the start.
Sprints to build up the lactic acid, then some spin downs to buffer it out.
