Comments: Overall I feel very good about this run. I have a half mary in two weeks, so this was a good practice race. I feel I paced pretty good. I started slwoing down in heat, but next race will be more shaded and aid stations every mile. I especially feel good after the terrible long run I had last week. Once again, legs were fine, just HR. Kept HR below 170 until mile 6, then high 170's for miles 7-8 and 180's in last 1.3 miles. What would you do differently?: Next time ask race director ahead of time how many aid stations (not posted anywhere) and bring my fuel belt. Also wouldn't have this chest cold or any coughing attacks :-) Post race
Warm down: walking and lots of gatorade. What limited your ability to perform faster: It started getting hot and found out on course not enough aid stations. Only 4 stations and 2 only had water. I am used to having 5oz gatorade each mile in the heat. Also chest cold. Event comments: need more aid stations Last updated: 2004-11-09 12:00 AM

GEt up and dressed, etc. Start drinking water and gatorade. Had a doubleshot an hour before and antoerh 1/2 hour before race. Had a couple of coughing attacks. Fighting a chest cold.
Some stretching and light jog about 1/2 mile. Mostly just relaxing.
