I have deleted all my PMs but I still get a message, for a week now, that says I have an excessive amount of messages stored so I can't send messages.    ???????????????

Hi Susan,

You have to delete some of the messages in your 'Sent Items' folder.  When this is the case, the message below will appear above your inbox:

"You have an excessive number of messages stored in your 'Sent Items'. You cannot send any messages anymore before you delete some expired mail."

I deleted all my messages over a week ago now I think, but I still get the same message and there's only one message in my inbox and I'd really really like to respond to as it means 1/2 price on marathon registration.  In the meantime, is there another way I can find out BTer's email address?

Never you mind -- if I had read your response carefully I would have found the problem immediately.  Finally deleted all SENT items like you said in the 1st place.  Guess I never did do well at those follow the instructions kind of tests.
