Comments: Good run - this was a fast field. While I raced a good race and set PR, I was unsure of how I'd do. I don't feel like this was the best I could do. I gave everything I had today, but I think I could've been faster on another day. I'm still very pleased with my performance. What would you do differently?: Not much - - I feel like I'm in good shape, but I have missed a few workouts over the last 2 weeks. Post race
Warm down: Met my family at the finish line and then waited for my running partner. Grabbed a bagel and some water. Did some stretching and tried to stay warm. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not much Event comments: Best part of this race was seeing my wife, my daughters, and some friends at mile 5, mile 10, and the finish. They also honked the car horn as they drove by from place to place. My friend Matt did the race in 1:51 (his first 1/2) About the only thing that I would change about this race is that they should use timing chips and maybe have some mylar blankets at the finish.
