Subject: Support for the ladies on top
I am training for early summer tri's in our area. My cleavage is one of my better features. I have no problem swimming in a race suit. But the thought of riding, much less running in a suit, makes the ladies on top hurt. I am not in favor of transitioning from a suit to a sports bra in T1 (guys leave off color comments on another thread).

What do other "well gifted" women prefer to train/compete in? A full top with a sports bra or something tight and lay those ladies flat?

Sports bra + top...there is no tri top that I've seen that would be supportive enough for anyone with over a B cup.

Here's my FAV sports bra...Moving Comfort Fiona

Sports bra and full top, sorry, not quite ready for public unveiling in the transition area either.

I have two that I found worked for me. Enell...which does however give you the lovely "uni-boob" look...or my new fave is the Goddess 2000 which happily surprised that it gave me the support I needed, and it is more adjustable than the Enell.

Hope this helps!

Fionna bra is my favorite too..I have about 12 of them. I like that it shows I have two breasts not one uniboob.

Wear your sports bra under what ever you are going to race in and don't change. It is a huge waste of time to change clothes in transitions. They make tri clothes that dry out quickly. Most folks wear tri shorts/top and sports bra and wear it the whole race. If you don't wear a wetsuit be sure your top is high enough so it doesn't catch water while swimming and try it out ahead of time in the pool or in open water.

Boo hoo, the Fiona is only available in white for the big girl sizes. That doesn't look so good for the swim. Argh.

What's "big girl sizes"?  I'm a 38 D in that bra and I have it in white, blue, black, and I believe can get it in green and pink.

Goddess bra from breakoutbras.com.  Black, adjustable, 2 boobs, dries fast, super supportive, affordable.  I am busty, as they say (cleavage in a turtleneck--hehe)!  And nursing.  I have an Enell but find it doesn't support if it isn't super super tight and I get a bit sick of the uniboob look.  Plus it doesn't dry fast.  I usually wear a tri top or tri suit over my bra and it's fine (however I haven't seen myself on video, so I can't promise there isn't bounce, but it is not uncomfortable).  Sometimes I even wear the Goddess under sweaters, as I think it makes me look smaller in general!

That said, I am getting a breast reduction once nursing is done. (sorry fellas!)  There are a few threads on here with the bra info in it. I  am sure I said the same thing as I really like the Goddess bra.

LOVE the Fiona - 36DD here and there are a few color choices to chose from. I wore a rashguard over the bra/under wetsuit and left it on for the rest of the race. No water down the neckline but no pockets to stash gels and stuff. not a problem for a sprint.
FYI - the pink fiona is see through when wet. unfortunately, I didn't wear a top over it for that race.

42 D here. That doesn't come in black. I wear a bra and tri shorts for the swim. In white, it would be obscene. A bad look

I live by my ENELL bra--I have tried MANY different ones and they didnt offer me the support that the ENELL does.--I just wear my ENELL under my swim suit and my tri shorts under my suit--so in T1 I just strip my wet suit and swim suit off, throw on my shirt and socks and shoes--I am ready to go--no peep shoe for anyone!
