TinkerBeth 23096 Liverpool, New York | Subject: RE: Wet and Wild January Challenge Final Update (aka, The World According to Beth) You guys rock! Funky-Chrono-Monkeys of the Frozen Cinder Tundra – Captain Bluejack maybe the only thing we know for sure is this what I do know, is that this team kicked some monkee booty! Awesome job of inspiring each other and keeping things going! Flying Fish – Captain Kendra Yeah, and hmmm, does anyone else find this disturbing? This team has done an awesome job of inspiring each other – they’ve been through sickness, broken down cars, latex vs silicone and well, they still keep swimming! Team Ride Lots – Captain Scott Eat your Loblolly and ride your trainer while visiting BT and you too shall be a Master – muwahahaha! Loving Every Mile – L.E.M. - Captain Lisa Who’s your Marmadaddy? – Captain Sal Dexter had a most excellent challenge, complete with the Freezeroo #4 Hearnish 10K and the discovery that V8 tastes good with vodka Wet and Wild – Captain JeniWow, so many ways that life can get in the way of training, but this team just continues to persevere! Hat’s off to Stuart (nevergivin) for being the first on the team to reach 120%. They are a team of spirit and inspiration! So many images come to mind when one says – ‘wet and wild’, LOL here’s one that seems to fit Twisted Blisters – Captain Beth Where to start????? Despite all odds, bears, broken ribs, chilling temperatures, radical job changes, new businesses, babies…………somehow, this team remained the chattiest of the challenge teams – hmmmm, who knows, this could even overflow to their standings in the actual challenge You ain’t heavy, you’re my blister – LOL
Scrambled Legs – Captain 1for1 “THIS IS WHY I LOVE CHALLENGES... New Friends, Motivation, Meeting a goal that I never thought I would see me set, and finding ways to push and know I can push harder. “ all we know, is that they are not a bunch of dancing chickens! Team T.I.T.S – Captain Max (aka keeper of the T.I.T.S)Yep, this sums it up! “Our T.I.T.S. are getting perkier, and more voluminous with each passing day. It must be the careful attention that we are giving to our individual and collective T.I.T.S.” There were some treats offered There were folks that were able ride in spite of a hangover, some even put in a 4 hour drainer ride I hope you all enjoyed the challenge as much as Dee and I did! drum roll please! and the winner is??????? |

Extreme Veteran 504 Tucson, AZ | Subject: RE: Wet and Wild Thanks to all of you who did extra to make up for my melt down. I appreciate the encouragement from everyone. I had not done an official "lap" since elementary school. It was great to get back at it and not as scary as I thought. Only 39 years between the two... It came back much better than I thought and all your encouragement, coaching and inspirational notes were a big help. It may seem silly that I can run a marathon and be afraid of the pool but you guys helped me over it. Many thanks... Now, off to the bike challenge for February with a marathon in the middle. |

Expert 626 Las Vegas, NV | Subject: RE: Wet and Wild Thanks all on this awesome team, you were all champions. We made it together. Who said swimmers don't know how to play as a team? We may have an individualistic sport, but we know how to cheer each other to win at the end. Great job all, and good luck on all your new challenges next month. Cheers. |
