  • Comments: Races organised by Tri events are always well done with lots of great volunteers . They do a fantastic job. Considering my inconsistent training I was pretty happy with my time, especially my run time.

  • Comments: 2008 time 1:34:14 2010 time 1:29:43 As it was I'd hoped to go under 1:30 and managed to do that which is fantastic, a PB over this course by about 4 1/2 mins, but I just can't help but think how much faster I could have gone if I'd had the fitness to lift my run pace!!! Oh well, live and learn. I think thats the great things about triathlon, no matter how much you improve, you can always improve more! I am doing as much training as I can and I will continue to just try and do my personal best. I like this course, this is a good race even though its at a difficult time of the year just before Christmas. I hope to be back again next year, as long as I am not pregnant with #2 LOL ;-)

  • Comments: Damn swim leg is hard! After i had finished I went back to my bike where I found that the competitor beside possibly took my helmet by mistake. So I had to report that to the race organizers. I was a bit bummed about that but decided to stay around for the spot prizes anyhow where for the first time in about 75 triathlons or so I won a prize! Not just any prize but the major prize, a $300 voucher for an Orca wetsuit!

  • Comments: Last years time: 1.16.47 This years goal: 1.17.00 (No, not a slower time, I just believe the swim was shorter last year) Beat my goal by 5 mins, purely because of my running, it suffered a lot last year, but not this year! Next year I will crack 1.10.00!

  • Comments: I have mixed feelings. On one hand I am much fitter with every season, this is my fourth long course race and I finish strong. I now consistently run all the way and don't seriously consider walking at all. So all this is good. But I am still so slow. I am still always coming in close to the bottom. I don't know what it is, 'cos I train a lot. I think I am probably just not very talented when it comes to speed. I need to focus more on my achievements and not correlate my lack of speed with not working hard enough. I do enjoy racing and I enjoyed today. I am very very pleased with my run performance and my cycle was good too. The swim could have been better but it wasn't bad really. I am just going to keep training :)

  • Comments: This was still a fun race even though I felt like rubbish. theres a pretty funny video on this website with some highlights from the race. my good friend is the one that says he was disadvantaged with short legs on the swim :) http://www.trievents.com.au/media/media-triseries.html#RockinghamVi...

  • Comments: Very good race, loved the format, was good fun...disspointed that my splits are all messed up on the results page, total is right, but it says I took 1:30+ on the 20km bike, and 0:00:00 for both runs...?

  • Comments: I had a good day, I was really relaxed and knew I hadn't had the best preparation with a serious hangover the day before so I think I did a pretty good job! the presentations afterwards were a bit hard to hear and I managed to get sunburnt with stacks of suncream on. But I had a good day out and was good to have so many people I know out there racing too,.

  • Comments: Best race i've been involved in...even if it was only because my name was on a rack... Good fun, and a great result for me, I was aiming to beat my time from last week, even though the ride was 2km longer, I did beat the time...by almost 3min, so I was very pleased...and had a good swim...
