  • Comments: I love this race! family all lives nearby and we used to live right along the course. Totally worth the 800 mile round trip drive from Long Beach.

  • Comments: Even though it's a 12 hour round trip drive for us, I will be back to do this race. It's awesome.

  • Comments: The 2 hour wait to get out of the parking lot made the entire race horrific. I ran the race in less time than it took me to get out of the parking lot. the teenagers who were directing traffic out of the lot said, "Oh well" when I complained about the 2 hour wait to get out of the parking lot. I don't think i will do this race again. It was awful.

  • Comments: They had bands on the course to help entertain us during the run, but I don't think some of the were fully awake. The did a great job of calling out runner's names as they approached the finish line, and had water waiting for us as we exited the field. Free post race snack bags and massages were available.

  • Comments: The best part of this race, I think, is the music on the course. They didn't have as many as last year, but there were 4 or 5 of them. I just love hearing live music while I'm running!

  • Comments: I still think I like Triathlons better. It was fun and I still am glowing from doing so well. I definately will do another! I also like all the music playing on the coarse.

  • Comments: I ran this race last year and again I was impressed with it being well organized. It is also pretty flat and fairly fast, although there are quite a few turns. The weather was cool and sunny but a little windy -- almost perfect. Recommended.

  • Comments: Great race. Finishing in the baseball stadium is just cool. I just wish they would let the spectators fill the whole right field stands. Great course, that is really fast, and you always know where the other runners are at.

  • Comments: This is a fun race - all kinds showed up. It was crowded, but not obscenely so, just a bit uncomfortable at my pace. I'll probably do this one again as an early tune-up and to get me running in the early season.

  • Comments: It was a nice race. Luckily the weather was good. Last year I heard it was raining. I liked that mostly it was on neighborhood streets, but they also incorporated the Tower Bridge and Capitol Mall. It was a good crowd. Some people in St. Patty's Day gear. I woudl recommend this race. I only say the course was too hard because I wasn't really prepared for the distance. There are a few rollers on the course and a couple of ups and downs onto/off of the levees, but nothing big.
