  • Comments: Down the last couple of years very well organized and one of my favorite events of the season. I look forward to this race each year. Might be a problem for 2010. The regional national qualifier is the next weekend.

  • Comments: Really love this race, great location, and well organized. I also liked the new transition layout better than the prior years.

  • Comments: Great race. really enjoyed this year's changes (new transition area, new swim course, etc) thought it was improvement from last year. Great job by CGI. The volunteers were excellent and plentiful(although the army of volunteers at the run aid station was a little intimidating!). Weather was perfect. It was a great day to be alive and racing.

  • Comments: CGI puts on good races. Although they pushed back the swim start by 15 minutes because of traffic, I understood why they did it. Other than that, things were pretty timely and nicely run.

  • Comments: Very well organized, lots of very helpful and friendly volunteers. Beautiful course with some very challenging hills! Will definately do it again. Thank you - it was a perfect first triathlon!

  • Comments: Started ~15min late b/c of traffic getting into the park. Luckily we came from the other direction and I like to get there early so we didn't have any issues. Love the venue being its a state park. They have a full bathrooms and showers. (I actually had no wait to use the bathroom...a first for a tri for me) Picnic tables, grills, and even a concession stand for family/spectators.

  • Comments: The actual event was fantastic and I am planning on making this a annual event for my wife and I to get away for the weekend. We had a blast. The pre and post race activities could have been a little more athlete freindly. I think that with the event at a state park, on a beautiful weekend a week after Memorial Day, we should have gotten more then just dominos pizza. A couple of grills with some burgers and chickens would have kept a lot of people around to cheer more people on.

  • Comments: The only complaint I have is the start was pushed back twice for late comers. It bothered me that I took the time to get there super early and yet the late people were accomodated. Seriously....its not fun standing around in a wet suit for an hour!
