  • Comments: Really love this race and venue. As usual post race food stunk - no protein at all! But it is what it is. Cheap entry fee and Fleet Feet gift card for making podium so can't complain.

  • Comments: Really love this race, the venue, and the volunteers. I do feel like the post race food gets worse each year. Bananas and bagels with cream cheese or butter (not even PB!!) were all they had. That's like 5K style. But otherwise no complaints, and the rain held out during the race itself.

  • Comments: I really love this race, having been coming here for 10 years now. To finish first overall was just amazing. Something I never would've though possible when I first came here years ago. It's always such a fast field, and to take home the win was so cool. And getting to share it all with Leigh and the kids was really special.

  • Comments: I really love this race, always one of my favorites. Tons of volunteers out of the course to help, great support from the towns and the crowd. A little disappointed with the food this year (nothing at all with any protein), but a small complaint for an otherwise great event!

  • Comments: Been doing this race since I started the sport in 2008 (missing '09 and '12) and I just love it. The venue is great and you can't beat sleeping at home for a race. Throw in the fact that this year I had my best finish ever and the whole family was there to see it and I couldn't ask for more!

  • Comments: I would say the course was challenging for me, but I need that, definitely the hardest race I've done yet. These guys have done this race long enough, and have the trainings there every week for so many years that they have it down. I wish the town would have cooperated more and let them close a lane for the run especially - at least on the very heavily trafficked section from out of transition to the turn into the school. Wish the bike wasn't an out and back, but of course that would take more police and volunteers. They keep the price low enough so more of us can do it.

  • Comments: For such a small race, there seemed to be a lot of awesome volunteers! I was surprised and kept wondering where they all came from! Very grateful to have such a nice race so close to home!

  • Comments: Overall the volunteers were great.. The T-shirts were the ugliest ones I have ever seen. Cotton really??? Pink was one of the colors in the shirt. I will not wear this at all! There was a little mix up with results for the teams and by the time they fixed it mosty people were leaving and the team members did not get the accolades they deseved. Next years goal is to train 4-5 people to do their first tri and also to volunteer and help out at this race. I need to be one of those great volunteers.

  • Comments: Lots of great volunteers, I'll say that much. I wouldn't have liked another drink station on the run. I've seen more drink stations on a 5K with no swim or bike beforehand... Not much going on after the race. Bagels, oranges and bananas but that's it.

  • Comments: They had music and stuff before the race which was cool. Not much to do afterwards though. They had some fruit and a good variety of bagels but that was it. Lots of volunteers directing traffic which was great. The park itself was beautiful, if I'm still in the area next year I'll definitely do this one again.
