  • Comments: This is a very small, low-key race that caters to beginners. Seemed even more low-key this year than usual for some reason. I really enjoy the course, so this is the third consecutive year that I have done this race. Finished 37th the first year, 16th last year and 4th this year ... pretty good progress. It is a nice change from some of the bigger races in the area. Kind of shocked by my high overall placing, but in a small race like this, you never know who did or didn't show up. Probably as close as I'll ever come to being first overall in any race.

  • Comments: Not a lot of volunteers on the bike course, but it was a fairly straight forward 4-turn course once you got out of the park. Could be a little confusing in the park and it would have helped to have volunteers directing you in and out of the park.

  • Comments: This was my first tri last year. I improved my time in all events. So I was happy. Enjoyed seeing BT friends and local Tri team members. Transition times are estimates because timing got screwed up because of the storm
