  • Comments: Once again, a well organized race. They had some problems with timing mats or chips, so many of us had no swim time until after T1. Because of this, no results were posted at the race itself. They were very quick to get the results up online (same day), so I think they did the best they could under the circumstances.

  • Comments: It has been a year since the WOU triathlon. Suzanne swam about the same. Maybe a little faster this year. The run this year was slightly slower also but in the same ball park. My bike was about 3 miles per hour faster. I am very happy with the effort. I hope to get into this race again next year and pick up some time in the run leg.

  • Comments: I thought it was a very well organized race. I don't have much to compare it to since it was my first, but based on other reports I've read and other biking events I've attended, this one was very well done. The only mark against them was that the post race food was kind of lame. Mostly 'rest stop food' like you'd find at bike rides - nothing really substantial.

  • Comments: Another fun, early season, indoor pool race. Many people I recognized from last year and just a very friendly and encouraging bunch of racers and volunteers. Great food cooked by the parents of the swim team at the end. Check this one out Oregonians, but register early as it fills up fast!

  • Comments: I would say I am happy with the ride, tolerant of the run and extremely happy that did not perform a 500 meter pool swim. Finally a thank you to Suzanne for swimming for me.

  • Comments: Spectacular weather. This was my best race, I've ever entered. The course record for my age group was soft. I broke the record by 4:28. However a guy only 4 years younger than me went over 7 minutes faster than I did. Every time he ages up he sets new records, so it's only a matter of time until he obliterates my record (if someone doesn't beat him to the punch).

  • Comments: This is one of the best organized triathlons I have attended!! I love these little races to build confidence for the harder races coming up. There will be more competition at the bigger races so I will have to push even harder to get results like this. I'm looking forward to a great year with many new PR's.

  • Comments: This was a well-run and organized tri. Granted only my second ever, but I've watched others. Many volunteers along the way. A wide variety of food at the end.

  • Comments: This is a well run race for been in their 4th year. Volunteers were plentiful, and law enforcement was at key points to allow everyone to race without stopping or fear of traffic. These guys do a great job! It's no wonder it sells out so fast.

  • Comments: I really enjoyed this race as my first triathlon. I thought it was perfectly matched for my ability and what I trained for. I felt like it was hard enough to feel like an accomplishment, but not so hard that I was dead at the end. The volunteers were all so nice and helpful. I was able to feel comfortable through the whole experience. I LOVED it!
