  • Comments: Another solid DQ effort. They have it down pretty good, and it's great to do their events. I'm going to miss these when we move, whether that's to MD, TX, or both.

  • Comments: Third place in my Age Group!! I was stunned when I saw that result, and I was certainly slower than the two guys ahead of me. Disappointed I didn't stick around to get an aware...whatever that would've been...but we got out so quick (especially since there were announcements about the potential for towed vehicles parked near the library; we were parked by the front door) they hadn't posted final results. I didn't see how I'd done until we were at the Safeway in Easton.

  • Comments: One of the few DQ races I'd not done before, mainly because it's held on Memorial Day weekend and we've always headed to MD beforehand. Had signed up for a Piranha race on 6/2, but work-related travel requirements for both TSW and me pushed us to this one. Good race, I'd absolutely do it again.

  • Comments: I think they had a tough time with getting volunteers because of the holiday weekend. But this remains one of the friendliest races around, and I had a great time. Smaller races are fun.

  • Comments: Bob Richey got stopped at the same spot I did. I don't think it's right at all that they make the racers wait. Linda R. said she had the same problem last year. Other than that, it's a great race. Linda R. was so excited to win a door prize of sunglasses. And it was great to see Paula Smith again.

  • Comments: Started about 5 minutes late and everybody was dumped into only three waves, timing chip did not give splits on my bike, T2 or run (as well as a number of other participants) but it seemed like it was well organized as DQ events normally are, nice fan participation at the Bike In and Finish Line and a terrific post-race food spread. Second best one yet (Stone Harbor takes the cake)- maybe better than the Tri/Du the Wildwoods too (although they are pretty good too). Overall a nice feel to the day. A perfect race because of the location to the Shore on Memorial Day weekend. Our family spent an entire day down the Shore after starting the day with this race. Just a terrific beginning to an awesome day! Kudos DQ!

  • Comments: The award ceremony was a little weird. The announcer was in the center of the picnic grove. But the awards were given out under the pavillion so you never actually saw anyone that received an award. Everyone was looking at the guy with the microphone.
