  • Comments: A fantastic experience. My first time at a large scale marathon event and overall I really enjoyed everything about this race, from the packet pickup at the expo to crossing the line! The Rock 'N Roll series is clearly a big time event and it was amazing to soak up the atmosphere. As a participant I really felt like a rockstar. Part of that, of course, involves some hassle in terms of logistics, and as much as I love Seattle, driving down there is insane at the best of times, least of all when half the roads are shut down! Next time I'm getting a hotel and making a weekend of it...even though I only live an hour away. But, I absolutely will do this event again. There was a buzz about the whole thing from the expo, to the bands, the volunteers, to the 20,000+ of my closest running friends on the day. I will almost certainly seek out RnR events in other cities.

  • Comments: A great experience for a first time runner! Pleasant atmosphere, good people, nice course, well executed planning and good bands. I would recommend this race to first timers or experienced racers. Next year I will be back for the marathon.

  • Comments: Over all a little more disorganized than last year. Still not as good a race as the PF Chang's RNR in Phoenix, which I consider one of the Flagship RNR races.

  • Comments: Rock and Roll Marathon events are always well organized. The course is usually crowded, but that's what you're going to get at events of this size. Overall it was a very good race and I look forward to hopefully doing this one again next year (or maybe doing the full marathon!).

  • Comments: A very fun race and well organized for an inaugural event. I'm very happy with the results. Even though I missed 90 minutes by 14 seconds, it just gives me another goal for next time. Also, it made it great to have BT friends to chat with before and after the race.

  • Comments: I know! I know! I have never complained SO much about a race. I know that. I had other stuff going down, I was stressed and took it out on poor rock n roll! I apologize RnR! You really were a fantastic race to run! I have never taken part in such a big event with so many people and a HUGE crowd to boot! I am definitely doing this next year!!!!!!!!

  • Comments: Great race. I wish they had at least one more aid station during the last 4 miles. I think their were only two, and I needed and planned on more. My own fault for not reading the map prior to the race.

  • Comments: This was a fun race...I had a very negative attitude going into it and still am making up my mind as to how I feel about the logistics portion...but the race itself was a blast. Will I do it next year? We shall see!
