  • Comments: Overall, I really enjoyed myself. It was a blast to be part of a relay where we were all novices, and to witness Matt during his first ever tri (WTG Matt!), and watch Kelly and Mike. I'm definitely looking forward to doing my first full triathlon next season! And I kind of hope the relay thing turns into an annual event amongst our group -- would be fun!

  • Comments: Last race of the year. I was planning on making this an A-race but the cold shut me down some. I feel like I improved greatly from last year but I still have a lot of work to do before I am competitive.

  • Comments: Nice post race goodies, plus I got got to meet Lokelani McMichael and Katya Meyers. My awesome wife was there to cheer me on and take pics and brunch with friends afterwards is great. I posted more pictures in my album!

  • Comments: I thought this race was fantastic. Great for any first timers. I want to thank all the folks here at BT.com for all of the advice I've read over the last 12 weeks. Just getting through the swim was one of the toughest things I've ever done. You all rock! Thanks to my friends and most importantly my wife too for all the support and funds!!!

  • Comments: My first race so I don't have much to compare to. It seemed like a perfect beginner race (calm water, flat bike, flat run) with perfect weather. I really need to learn to swim in open water and to train more for all events.
