  • Comments: Chris just does an amazing job with all his races and brings an unreal energy and vibe which is so appreciated. I signed up for this race a few minutes after midnight on NYE so only cost about $40 to race which is just insance considering how much I enjoyed the whole experience.

  • Comments: This race was very well organized, great location and had some very strong athletes taking part & many first timers. Kudo's to Chris Wilcox for creating a real nice vibe around the race and Father's Day. It was a lot of fun and a perfect start to Father's Day for me. The numbers show I finished in the top 20% of race and 6th in my age group, which is pretty darn good for me. More importantly on this day I'm very lucky that my fiancee Liz and daughter Chloe are such troopers and hung with me from 4:30 AM to the finish and helped me to enjoy the day. I'm blessed to have them both in my life.

  • Comments: A great first Triathlon Event. Lots of good clear easy to follow directions. The only downside is keeping track of "laps" on the bike segment. If that could be done so that there is only one "lap" that would be ideal.

  • Comments: The policemen with the cones across the race course really upset me. By the 2nd lap they were gone, it still was a bit frustrating though. Not sure on post-race, it was pouring rain so I left. It seemed well organized, the race director was constantly on the megaphone reminding people of times to be at swim start. There were enough porta-potties which is always a plus (and even some by the race start). I would like to do this race next year and redeem myself.

  • Comments: Good race, terrible weather. I pretty much limited my chances for a higher placing with a bad T2 and some questionable run tactics.

  • Comments: Considering the weather and my first podium, this was a decent event. One comment, mile markers during run. Might not be possible since same route a bike, but would have helped.
