  • Comments: This is a solid beginning of the season race. It's pretty low key and it helps set the tone for the season. This was the last year at this venue, after 13 years of having it here. It's been a good ride Grand Duathlon. Thank you 3D for keeping it alive. Next year it may be at Kentwood H.S. which is just down the road. I suspect they may use portions of the existing bike course, but this remains to be seen.

  • Comments: For the weather of the day, I felt the event was done as best and safely as possible. I enjoy the 3D events and look forward to them through out the rest of the year.

  • Comments: This was a well run race with the potential to be fast. It's usually pretty competitive with people wanting to see where they stack up at this point. In the past it has had really nice weather and days like today (rain and wind). It's a nice race to see where your multi-sport fitness is early in the season and to remember the details of what it takes to execute a race. I didn't have a fantastic race performance, but I still enjoyed myself and am glad I did it. I'm sure I'll do it again.

  • Comments: I hadn't really prepared for this race but I thought it would be a good early season warm up. I learned a few things and overall I had a good time. I am glad I did it but I will do some more du specific training before doing another one.

  • Comments: Typical 3D race, but things went smooth. Rain after the race caused 3D to rush the awards. Can't stop the Thunderstorms.
