  • Comments: This was a very well run race -- especially under the circumstances. The race organizers and the city of Half Moon Bay deserve a ton of extra eggs and candy from the Easter Bunny. Hopefully, they'll figure out a way to bring another triathlon back to Half Moon Bay in the future.

  • Comments: USA Productions made the right decision in moving this race entirely to Uvas Reservoir. It was formerly based at Almaden Lake (AKA, Duck Poop Lake) in San Jose. The water quality and swim experience at Uvas is far superior to Almaden Lake. Please keep this race at Uvas in the future!

  • Comments: Was a great race. My last races with USA Productions were in 2012 and were good events, but the medals and t-shirts were noticeably poor. This year it was great to receive tech-T shirts and custom medals... nice touch. Overall a well organized, fun race on excellent course with a lot of support. They did a good job communicating and accommodating the swim venue change and point-to-point race once Almaden lake wasn't a viable location for the swim. Well done!!

  • Comments: My beautiful wife could not be there for this race, she had puppy duty (I had the better end of that deal)But I did have a great cheering section, Dad, Joyce, my niece Sophie and nephew Ian. Thank you so much for all the wonderful hospitality Dad and Joyce.

  • Comments: Everything is great about this triathlon -- except for the lake. It's too small and the water tastes bad. But I'm a terrible swimmer, so I'm probably just whining... The race organization, bike and run courses were superb. Just wait 'till next year -- I'll be ready for the swim.   • Comments: Awesome race! Very, very well organized, had everything I could have wanted and the burrito and beer after the race were awesome. I would do this race again, it was quite fun.

  • Comments: Super fast course, The lake water was better than last year, the roads are mostly smooth as close to perfect as you will find these days, The run course was flat. Highly recommended.

  • Comments: Worst experience I have had on a triathlon to this date. A mismanaged event. From registration to the end. The entire tri group was upset.
