  • Comments: 7min faster than last yr. 2nd AG and a PB for Oly tri - 2:53:15. Might have clinched the Multisport Series Championship and also won the bike category (Trico bike case) for the Triple Race Challenge. Very happy. This is the coolest tri venue, lots of spectators, tons of atmosphere. Perfect weather, 2nd yr in a row.

  • Comments: There could have been more volunteers on bike course and run course at corners..... I was a little nervous about staying on track.

  • Comments: The bad - - extremely slow swim. - did not go over 30kph on the bike, missed by 6 sec. - did not break 3hr, missed by 21 sec. But the good more than overweigh the bad. The good - - another race with fantastic weather. - great venue, lots of cheering spectators. This race must have the most spectators, as it's at the popular Wasaga beach on one of the last summer wkends. Come to think of it, this is the most people at Wasaga Beach I've seen. - completed my first oly in 4yrs, since 06 Worlds at Lausanne. Longest race this season and finished strong. - finished the coldest swim since 08 Worlds, and felt confident that I can swim forever if I swim slow. - finished 2nd AG, which puts me 1st in the series standing going into the last wkend of racing. Yeah!!!

  • Comments: The race was well done. The fact that it was directly on the main strip of Wasaga Beach was pretty cool because there was a nice crowd cheering us on. The distance markers on the run and bike were a bit off but otherwise it was well done.

  • Comments: Other than the buoys in the water, it was a great race and well organized. I was disappointed with my run time, but I met my goal of under 3:15. I hope to get closer to 3 next year.

  • Comments: Well organized and as always with HSBC races, safety was primary concern, hence the swim being cancelled.

  • Comments: Avg HR 168 Nutrition: 0500-1 bagel with cheese, 2 c. oj., water, 1 apple 0800-1 gel with water 1 gel once on bike 1 gel when bike almost done Water only on run 1 gel just before 2nd loop of run
