  • Comments: 3LP is a good, fun race. The facility is nice, clean and well supported. FSS did a very good job this year with the timing chips, wherein live data was posted, quick results, etc.

  • Comments: This is known to be a fast local race - flat bike and run. I was hoping for a fast time and beat last years. so after only six wks training it was a good result. I also beat my three training partners which was first ever achievement - admittedly the fastest 28 y/o vomited on the bike and I beat him by 4 seconds - at the end of the day its race time - if you don't perform and I do that's ok with me :-)

  • Comments: I was unimpressed with the directing of this race, particularly with the chaotic free-for-all swim start. I feel seed times should be firm, or why have them at all.

  • Comments: I really like the race. It has a very friendly feel. Everything is well organized. The food after was great, plenty of drinks left. My kids didn't have their swim suits, but I think they opened up the kids pool/play area after we were out. There were 2 playgrounds and a bounce house the kids loved. Parking was easy and close.The only negative is the traffic, especially tanker trucks on a smalol portion of the bike course. This may be one of my annual races; great for me and great for my family.

  • Comments: The race location was super nice. The swim was disorganized in that people were way out of position, did not know their start times, etc. I would easily do this race again next year.

  • Comments: This was my first (of hopefully many) triathlons. I was very impressed with FS Series. I thought they did a great job. The SRAC did an awesome job hosting this event. We are members @ SRAC and I was proud of our volunteers and staff.

  • Comments: I liked this event, it was my first but won't be my last, & I will definitely run it again next year. The organizers at FSSERIES.com put on a good event, and the town of Smithfield really made this event a good event.

  • Comments: First year for this event. Very well organized and lots of fun. I'll be back next year to improve that run time. Very cute trophies. Age groupers got little pigs and the overall winners got the Big Bad Wolf trophies.

  • Comments: There was plenty of post race nutrition and drinks. That was great. There was also an awesome water mist tent that helped with the cool down tremendously.
