  • Comments: This was my first race, and even though the course is challenging, and the competition is stiff for a small local race, it's really fun and well-run, and I like to support it.

  • Comments: Still a great low key local race. Lots of familiar faces, great competition. Happy to continue to improve in time and in OA and AG placement. I believe placing in the top 10% in my AG at a sanctioned event qualifies me for USAT Age Group Nationals next year.

  • Comments: This race needs timing pads for the transition areas. It's over 400 people now. Atmosphere is nice and viewing is very family friendly. My family was able to see the entire swim, watch T1 and walk up to the bike course where they could see me pass 10 times on the bike by moving a couple of hundred feet back and forth. Run is out of view, but they were there for the finish. Didn't stick around for festivties afterwards, but there were some tents set up and food and drink for athletes.

  • Comments: I had a good race. Weird thing is usually if you look at my performance in each disciple I usually finished in a pretty high % of the swim and bike and run in the worst. This time my swim was the worst. I think that had more to do with alot of young "swimmer" type kids killing my average. Definately helped me work so bugs out after not racing for 1 year before IMKY. I know a few things that I need to definately remember.

  • Comments: Started a bit late...8 minutes I think. That seems pretty good. Course was well marked, especially the run. Would have liked to see a transition area diagram in the email they sent out. Also, a quick review of USAT rule regarding bike positioning would have been nice. I had to weave around a lot of people. It's really bad when you say "on your left" and they swerve to the left because they think I'm asking them to move left. Otherwise, this was a really fun race. Lots of friendly people.

  • Comments: Great Race. There were fast guys, winned was 1:01, and a lot of first timers. This actually was my first full tri. I competed in the Edinboro Tri, but we did not swim because of a high level of e-coli in the lake. The course was marked very well. Many volunteers to help you with anything. I will be doing this one again next year for sure.

  • Comments: I will do it again. It was difficult after coming off of a beach vacation. This is the course I trained on all summer...should have been easier for me :( Transition times were included in segment times.
