  • Comments: Well overall I had an awesome performance. I should have won my very first triathlon. Everyone kept telling me good job on the win and such but really it's still a sore subject. The race is for a good cause which I am happy about. I was upset that at the awards segment nothing was said by RD about it or the cops screwing it up.

  • Comments: Great race. Lots of volunteers on the bike and run course. 3rd year in a row of doing the Morton Tri. Seems to get better every year.

  • Comments: It would have been a great race for me personally if I hadn't have had the back issues. For a small race its nice one, I will be back next year simply to destroy my time from this year (as long as my back works that is)

  • Comments: I really liked the race, small and very comfortable for newbies. I wish they would have let us know that when we would be getting our timing chips when we checked in, nothing was said and it created some confusion. Everyone was very friendly otherwise, loved the race, I hope to go back!

  • Comments: Have to rate this event high because it is in my hometown and there is nothing like racing in your hometown. Had an ok race today but defintly felt like I could have done even better. Did set a new PR for myself today at sprint distance but still feel like I am faster than this.

  • Comments: Overall I had a blast. It started about 10 minutes late I think as well. I think they need more volunteers to point out a couple spots on the run that were not marked on the street and also the whole finish line/double finish line sidewalk thing was confusing coming in the end the race. Thank you sister for directing me! Overall I'd do this race again as long as I have the weekend off. Was a great first triathlon for me and I also got 1st in my AG! Still stoked about that and I got 8th overall!!! Can't believe it!.

  • Comments: Would request more help or at least more active help at corners and where the course really changes. I would have liked some more directional help next time. Jaycees really put on a great race though for their first time. I hope they raised a bucket load of money for Big Brothers/Big Sisters!! Good job Dustin and Tazewell Jaycees!!

  • Comments: This was a huge success for a first year tri. A few things that could have been done a little differently, but overall an awesome tri.

  • Comments: This was the first year for this event. Tons of volunteers who were great. Organization was a bit lacking. Prior to the start, not efficient in getting timing chips out. Afterwards, the drinks were a long walk from the finish and things were again disorganized. However, for the first time think they did a really nice job and expect that in future years it'll go more smoothly.
