  • Comments: I really liked this race. White Lake might be a little better but not by much. This is a great race to end the season with. Set-Up as usual put on a great event. Best part was meeting Tom Petersen and Mark Campbell. We were able to grab some lunch before leaving town and share some traing ideas and future race plans. Both, along with Jeff Bostic, have helped me through some tough mental blocks-especially with swimming! I can't wait to see everyone again next year.

  • Comments: This is a tough race. The lake is nice and the bike and run courses are challenging. Will I do it again??...I don't know...I'll see how I feel next year when time comes to sign up. Right now I'm just spent and glad the racing season is over.

  • Comments: Great race, horrible conditions. At least the rain waited until most of the racers were done. I really wish I could have met more BTers. Actually, I just wanted to meet 1_foot so I could get some cookies!! I amazed myself and have learned that I can push my body beyond it's limits and not blow up. This race was going to be a put up or shut up race before Worlds. I put up in a big way. I have tons of confidence going into my final race of the year and I hope that I acheive my goal at Worlds: Not Suck.

  • Comments: Ran into Jeff and Wakeman at the finish, I'm sorry I missed everyone else. I saw the BT sign as we were walking back to the car, nice job 1 Foot, sorry I missed it at the end of the run. I was bummed that I was slower this year and I kinda knew I missed out on getting into the invitational, I was 21st going into this race and would have had to pull out a great race to get in. Next year.

  • Comments: So glad I signed up for it. Although I feel extremely slow, I feel a huge sense of accomplishment having done this distance. Again it just continues to build my confidence that I will be able to do not only a HIM but a full at some point. I'm so stoked. And BT'ers just continue to be so inspiring. Thanks to all of you who were there physically and all of you that have checked up and encouraged me from all over. We're doing this thing, baby!!! I'll upload pics as soon as I can get them.

  • Comments: Other than the remote parking issue this was a fun race that I would like to do but not 6 days after a HIM. Maybe next year skip the HIM and do this race more prepared/
