  • Comments: Of the major sprints in LA (Cajun Man, Meat Pie, River Cities) this one is my least favorite. The ride is just bad with the rough roads. The run from T1 was long, too. Swag was nice, though, and post-race was very good.

  • Comments: To be fair, I left as soon as transition re-opened, so can't speak to all of the post-race events. Food was good and there was plenty to drink. Always a good event, biggest local triathlon, glad to be a part of it.

  • Comments: Excellent race - a great introduction to the LA tri scene. And I've NEVER gotten as much awesome swag in the goody bag as from this race - particularly impressive considering the very affordable (relatively speaking) entry fee!

  • Comments: I started training about 18 months ago with the plan to compete this year. I was really nervous about doing Cajunman but I am glad I did. I had a great time. Hopefully I can stay healthy and keep improving.

  • Comments: A little unorganized for me. I waited until race morning to pick up my packet. You had to walk past transition area about 200 yards to pick up your packet and chip. Lines were short so it did not take long. Transition is in the middle of a field, which was not good this year with all the rain. It was muddy and ants were every where. I really like this race, not sure why but I do. I will be back again next year.

  • Comments: This race gets my highest rating. This race course was better than MiM. I also like the size (350ish). Not to big but not to small. I am really glad to have a "good" triathlon. Most of the time something goes wrong or just doesn't workout. But this time things went well. I will probably now have 3 races of problems but it's races like this one tht get me excited about racing. This was my best race ever. I was firmly in the middle of the pack. 34/60. While I think it is a fluke for me to place that high it sure is nice to see.

  • Comments: This is easily the biggest and the best local event, very well organized and run, tons of volunteers, nice course, good food and entertainment afterwards. This is also the state championship triathlon, so it brings out some good competition. Fun race, I'll do it every year as long as I am doing triathlons.
