  • Comments: A nice local well run race but low turnout. I think better advertising would help. I had fun and the snacks afterwards at the gym were nice. They also did a great job on keeping people spaced in the pool. There was very little backup.

  • Comments: Make sure the race volunteers are at the turn-around :) I knew where it was from last year but the guy in front didn't. Only thing I would change is that somehow having T1 and T2 in the same spot, but I think logistically that would be next to impossible.

  • Comments: This is a fun race, good warmup, long ride compared to the swim and bike. They had volunteers at every turn, police at every intersection so directions were not a problem. Awards was nice, bagels, banannas, OJ and some other stuff. Really low turnout compared to last year I think. Not sure if he marketed this race at all as there wasn't much going on in NOVA so figured there should have been more people there.

  • Comments: This race was really fun and well organized for a local race. The awards and the refreshments were basic but nice. This was a great confidence builder and lots of great sportsmanship and supportive spirit.

  • Comments: Other than the snake swim everything went pretty smoothly. plenty of police and volunteers out there to help.

  • Comments: Overall, I am quite happy with the race organization. There were 64 women and 82 men that raced. So it's a small race. I recommend it to anyone wanting to get ready for the season. The results were a little suspicious though but this is a local race. So no biggy. Just to highlight the race results that were funny. Something funny to note: During the awards ceremony, I was called as the 3rd best female. Quite funny... I did not know you could change of sex during a Triathlon event... :o)
