  • Comments: A very well organized race. I just wish I had felt better. I am thankful that we got a break in the weather to run the race, but it was not ideal. Looking forward to doing the race again next year.

  • Comments: This is still one of my favorite races. We started a little late but that was due to weather. They could use one more aid station on the bike course. I'll be back next year :)

  • Comments: Again, with the consideration of the weather, they did a very good job with the race. Kudo's to all of the volunteers who stuck around through the horrible weather and stuck it out to help out the athletes. They were great!

  • Comments: Nothing organizers can do about weather. This was my last event of season and my firt Oly tri. I savored the moment and enjoyed my accomplishment. I did it. Finished my season with a smile on my face.

  • Comments: Weather caused nearly an hour delay, but the race organizers kept everyone imformed at appropriate intervals. Kudos to organizers in this regard. Thanks to the volunteers who stood in the rain to help with parking, road closures, course management, hydration stations, and encouragement.

  • Comments: Great race, and great effort despite the best efforts of the weather to wreak havoc. Awesome adaptability from the Race Director to keep things going in the face of the weather and still put on a safely managed and enjoyable event.

  • Comments: overall i was way undertrained for this distance - work and family had to take precedance for most of july & august - even without equipment issues i would maybe have posted 3:40....still not good enough... I think 08 will be another year of sprints with an oly at the end

  • Comments: Pleasant Prairie is a great triathlon. The fact that they could make this thing happen on a day like today is crazy. The volunteers that stuck around in that mess have to be commended. Great event. They could use better food in the after party.

  • Comments: Suck-o-rama conditions. Would have been a heck of alot more fun if it would have been a wee bit less wet and cold outside. Maggyruth was industrious enough to make us TEAM TERRI temp tattoos! We raced today in honor of BunnyRunner! Unfortunately, I couldn't get my tattoo to stick...but the intent was the same, and hopefully it churned up alot of good MOJO for Terri.

  • Comments: The delayed start and fewer volunteers were due to weather and not the race organization. Overall it was a well organized race and they did a great job given the inclement weather. I would recommend this race to a first timer or a veteran triathlete looking for a course that will allow them to turn out a good time.

  • Comments: I thought they did an excellent job. It was also awesome to have a personal best, but the course was real nice. I will definitely try to do this one again. I AM SUPER STOKED WITH THE 2:34:09!! :) Motivation for next year

  • Comments: This was a race I had mentally checked out of before I even began it, and it turned out to be my best race ever at this distance and probably my best all-around race at any distance. I beat my PR for this distance and on the same course by around 9 minutes and very nearly made my "dream" goal of 2:35 for the course. To me, this was finally the proof I was looking for that all the extra training volume I had put in my for my first HIM had really paid off. Plus, I improved in EVERY area from my race here last year, including my transitions. Now I still have to finally decide whether I really want to take another crack at an HIM before the season ends. If I could go sub-6 on that, it would complete a really satisfying tri season.
