  • Comments: Great annual race. They handle the number amazingly. This was the first year they timed everyone which should allow sorting of runners in the future.

  • Comments: I've lived in Atlanta for almost 18 years and this was my first Peachtree. It was a fun event and I'll plan to do it again.

  • Comments: I do this race every year, but this year seemed even better than ever. They published start times, so not everyone had to show up at once. Everyone had a D chip, so everyone's race was timed -- kudos to the race organizers for that! It seemed that there were more bands than usual on the course, the volunteers were all fabulous, and the organization to accommodate the largest 10K in the U.S. went like clockwork. Great job!

  • Comments: I had a blast walking in my 1st Peachtree RR. Maybe I'll get my friend to walk more next year. I basically just used it as a training walk for the 2-Day.

  • Comments: This was my third time running this race (2005, 2007, 2009). The first year I didn't train for it and ran it in about 1:06:00. The next year I did it in 1:02:00. This year was 1:00:09. I've improved each year, but I've yet to consistently train and prepare for a significant period of time. Next year I'd like to really prepare and do much better. I turned 30 this year so it feels good to be in better shape than ever before even as I get older. Hopefully 31 will be even better than 30 - and maybe I can catch my wife - since she always beats me!

  • Comments: Peachtree is such a big participation event. I ended up literally finding my brother and eleven year old neice about half way through the event. Since it was my neice's first Peachtree, I decided to hang back with her and my brother to provide her with encouragement. Ironically, I still ended up finishing faster than last year by a few minutes. Had I been on my own, I probably would have improved my time quite a bit but it was totally worth it to finish it with my brother and neice.

  • Comments: An Atlanta tradition for 55,000 people. Race sells out in just a few hours now that they have gone to online registration. Great destination race for you out-of-towners. If you ever get the chance to do the world's largest 10k then by all means, take it.

  • Comments: Much more of a spectacle than a race, but it was more fun this year than last, because of not having to wait as long and the lower humidity.

  • Comments: You can't compare racing w/ 55,000 other people. Sure, it's tough to get a PR. But it's more about the experience. Was glad to finally see what this race is all about after growing up in Atlanta and hearing about it every year. I think it will become a 4th of July tradition from here on.
