  • Comments: I think for this large of a crowd the event went smoothly. I do not like that it is not a closed course. I saw at least one ambulance working on a biker and several water bottles spilled arcoss the course where there were more accidents. I also did not like the long walk from parking to the transition center.

  • Comments: A good race. My first by GAMultisports (makes sense since the rest of my races were in VA). It started a little late, but the volunteers were great, the food & t-shirts are nice. My only complaint is the parking sitch, which wouldn't have been so bad if I wasn't sick.

  • Comments: This was a well run race. Lots of support and volunteers. The only thing bad I have to say I already mentioned, and that was the lack of respect during the National Anthem.

  • Comments: I do like the GA Multisports races, they are always good. It seemed like this year was a lot more crowded and they might have needed some more volunteers though. Not a huge deal- they still did a good race. The shirts this year are nice too!

  • Comments: I really enjoyed this race. It was a well orchestrated event by Jim and his crew. There were plenty of volunteers, water stations and policeman on the course. This will be on my list next year for sure.

  • Comments: This is a great race. Better and more organized than last year. I was dissappointed in the lack of respect shown by racers and the organizers during the playing of the National Anthem. The race announcer actually interupted the anthem at least 4 times. That sorta pissed me off. Also, very few racers showing any reverence what-so-ever. Sad. Good race however.

  • Comments: This was my first GA Multisport race - very impressed. Jim Rainey and his crew put on a quality event. We're blessed to have two VERY capable and quality tri production orgs - GA Multisport and Blue Sky Sports (Tri the Parks series) - in Georgia.

  • Comments: Suprisingly, this is my sprint distance PR, and it beats last years time by a minute, thirty seconds. This event is very popular and is well done. I will be doing this one again.

  • Comments: A struggle, but I finished. After failing at Tugaloo, it felt good to complete a race, even if it was much shorter. Could have cut 15 min. off run if leg not injured.

  • Comments: I had a great race, felt good, had fun, and did really well. My time this year would have gotten me a 2nd place last year. My bike time was in the top 15 overall, so very strong. Swim a little disappointing and run I was satisfied, but want to push it a little harder next time, especially in the beginning.

  • Comments: Great venue and organization. I will definitely do this one again. The race sold out limit of 600 (they allowed 629 to enter). The 2007 race is limited to 700.

  • Comments: I got 1st in my age group which I'm really happy about. I think it's the largest age group that I've actually placed in. I was also the 5th female overall out of about 225 women. Now I just need to figure out how to move up a couple of spots. :) Overall, it was much more fun to hang out with friends and Bters than to worry about getting awards. I'm so glad that GaMultisports added this sprint to the end of the year. It's a great course and it's a perfect event for first time triathletes to hit up. That atmosphere was awesome out there - everyone was encouraging and having fun. I would highly recommend this event to anyone.

  • Comments: I'll add this one to my race list. Although I had a few problems here and there I feel great about my performance. I would have liked to finish in the top three in my AG but who doesn't? I think my conditioning was excellent and my training was pretty sound. I will probably hire a swimming coach over the winter to help me with my technique. Watch out next year.

  • Comments: I would say that this was pretty organized for an inaugural race. The swim should have life guard support and I had to go to the timing company website to get the results this morning. The bike course was more than 13 miles and the run course was advertised as "very fast out and back flat terrain ..." but the truth is that it was rolling hills. Other than that it was well organized.

  • Comments: My goal for this race was 1:35, so I was very excited to see 1:31 on my watch when I crossed the finish line. I performed much better than I thought and I think that the plan I chose on BT to train with really helped me do so well. I thought I would be in pain at the end, but I felt really good.

  • Comments: I was very pleased with the overall race. I have only done one other race in my life (a 10K) and the atmophere here was far better. Things seemed well laid out, the course was nice, and there were lots of people around to tell me where to go. I went in hoping to beat 1:40 so I am very happy with my time. I'll definitely do this again!

  • Comments: Good race especially since it was he first time they held this event. I wasn't worried since GA Multisport seems to do a great job. I would do this race again..even thought the weather was a little cool. Nice t-shirts too!
