  • Comments: Cops were great about blocking traffic and there were plenty of people to tell you where to go. The swim wave had a bad start (caught everyone off guard), but otherwise a pretty well run race.

  • Comments: The B&S training tailored to this race really helped as I was familiar with the course and had a mental plan of attack I did a good job of running my race and I accomplished my top end goal of under 1:45.

  • Comments: One of my favorite sprint tris to do...especially since its in my hometown of Salem and I know Salem and Marblehead so well...I will always do this race...plus I love doing FIRM races.

  • Comments: I didn't stick around at this one - for more than one reason. Not sure if I'll do it next year..most likely not, but only because I want to do Timberman 70.3 (WOO HOO!) My head wasn't in it. That's how I felt. Not a great performance, but (as always good practice.

  • Comments: Great race. Well organized. Was sooooooo great doing it at Forest River, where I've been going since before I was born and my Mom swam there when I was in her belly. Loved doing this was-will always have to. Went decent-especially since I have trained or done anything basically in the two weeks since my last tri. But need to definitely pick up the training and get a few more pieces of equipment. Fourth one down already this season-crazy-but fun, fun!
