Subject: Aero drink is hitting my tire!!!
When I first got my aero drink bottle, I had this problem, but managed to elevate the bottle slightly above the tire by wrapping a thin bungee cord around the part of the bottle that sits on the aerobars.  However, my new aerobars are a bit lower, so now the bottle needs to be elevated by about 3/4".  Has anyone else run into this problem?

Yep - 1st ride with the aerodrink left a nice groove worn into the bottom of my bottle from tire rub.

Are you using the bracket specially made for the aerodrink? I ride with low profile bars and no spacers, and likely couldn't use the bottle without the bracket.

If you do have the bracket, you can adjust the angle of the two side pieces with an allen wrench and angle it up for better clearance.

I have my bracket angled up as far as I can get it, and only have 1/2" tire clearance.

Rubber bands work great.  Duct tape also works but you lose the bling factor.

When I lowered my front end and discovered this problem (I only use my Aerodrink for races) I had to improvise as my LBS had no brackets in stock.

I took two chapstick tubes and taped them to the Aerodrink to raise the whole thing up.

I actually wore a hole in my AB in a race earlier this year, from it rubbing on the tire with a new aerobar setup. Didn't help my hydration or my bike speed, I'm sure.

Your LBS or triathlon shop should help you solve the problem.  My question is: do you really need the aero drink system?

Do you have a better way of staying hydrated while in the aero position?

Man just cut out the bottom of the bottle where the tire rubs. Also then you won't have to worry about carrying around all that heavy liquid on your handlebars or losing your little yellow thing lol

I have one bottle cage on my seat tube, and two behind the seat.  For my HIM in 2 weeks I just want to use the one on my seat tube and my aero drink.  I don't *need* it but I've raced with it before and it really works for me.  I'll figure something out.
