I thought that I had seen some discount codes posted here for the ING Atlanta.  I tried to search the forum, bu had no luck.  Has anyone seen any codes?  Is there a discount for early registration, or did I miss it already?

I believe the discount runs until 12/31/08, then the price is upped. I will have to double check the flier tonight on that.

I think it was $80 for the full, and $60 for the half.

It's classic Atlanta.  Pretty hilly, but beautiful course that hits many parts of the city.  The Druid Hills section is definitely rolling.  I'd say that's the hilliest section.

It's actually a pretty great course. Always keeps you interested. One 2 mile stretch, prior to Agnes Scott College, is pretty boring, but Agnes Scott itself, was the best cheering section of the race last year.

Here is the elevation Profile:

It's a nice course.  It's hilly, but that is Atlanta.  I'm in again this year.

I ran the half last year.  The half and the full run together to a point, then the full splits off and rejoins the half towards the finish line.

It was great as a half-er.  I got to see the "Kenyans" and the first woman marathon finisher.  However, if I were an elite, top finishing marathoner, it might be annoying to wade through the sea of halfers.  I'm not in any danger of seeing many halfers, but this may be a concern for some of you.
