Subject: Time to Chime in....

Hi everyone,

I've been using this site for a few month now preparing for my first ever Sprint Triathlon. Initially I found this site it to be an excellent Training Log, but after getting invloved in the Forums, I found a great group of people who share my enthusiasim!!  The more I read about what everyone has going on the more geeked about the sport I get.

Anyway, I Live in Appleton, WI (burrrrrr...) - about 1/2 hour south of Green Bay. (Go Packers!!!!). My background in endurance sports in pretty modest, I've been athletic for many years but never at a competative level - which I soon found out after my first trip to the pool - uuuuggghhh. I've ran a couple of 5k's thats about it. I've come a long way in the last two  months thanks to the Training schedule and the people at BT.com. I hope I can contribute as much as I get out of this!

My first Tri is the JHawk Earlybird Tri set for April 25th 500yd swim (indoor) / 22K bike / 5K run. If I survive, I'll post the result here

Thanks

Lonny Angell

Another Packer fan! Go Packers! I'm originally from the U.P. of Michigan (also brrrr), so I am a huge Packer fan! I try to get to one game every year. This past season was the Packer/Bears game at Lambeau in December. Awesome.

I could go on all day about the Pack, but that's another forum. Welcome Lonny, and good luck with your race! Let us know how it goes!
