Blame for what? There's nothing in there showing that this represents a change from anytime in the past. Is it ideal? No, but for all this article shows, this could have been the norm for the last 100 years.

Maybe the treadmill bored them senseless so they turned it off? By the way, the Burger King rocks.

I've been waking up in a cold sweat night after night after dreaming about the Burger King-  I keep dreaming he's just around the corner watching me everywhere I go, with his creepy "Richard Nixon mask-like" face... I refuse to eat at the BK for that reason-just brings back the nightmares?!

(Ok, ok, not really, but I wouldn't be surprised a bit if the therapists are busy listening to other disturbed people telling that story- Yikes!! What a creepy marketing tool!!  Is it really working?  Do you want to eat at the BK after watching one of those commercials???  It seems like they should be invoking my hunger senses, not my sense of fear...)

Kids are to blame.  They get too easy of a ride as their faults are always pinned on their parents.

Kids should be responsible for all their actions.  let's not use their lack of knowledge of the world around them or their lack of maturity or their lack of experience as scape goats anymore.

Parents need to teach their kids to make healthy choices. Does my daughter eat fast food? yes she does but we go to wendies and she gets a regular kisd meal hamburger with orange slices and milk... healthy options are avaliable. It is the parents job to ensure that kids get out and run and play and eat good.
