Subject: wirelss bike computer compatible with garmin?

I added the garmin speed/cadence bike sensor to my bike when I bought my 910XT, and am having some buyers remorse, regretting not adding a wired or wireless bike computer like i had on my old bike - just easier to view.

So, does anyone know of a wireless cadence bike computer that's compatible with garmin speed/cadence bike sensor so that i can maybe save a few $?

thanks.

er... why not use your Garmin 910xt?  it's fully functional as a bike computer, will pick up your speed/cadence, HR monitor, even a power meter.

just buy the mount.

The 910xt Quick release makes it very easy to pop it off your wrist and onto your bike. I wear my 910 on the swim, pop it onto my bike for the ride and back onto my wrist for the swim. No issues at all.

Bontrager Node works great.  I actually use both (node and garmin) as I had two races in the past year where my garmin turned on in my luggage and was dead as a doornail on race day.  Also works with the garmin HRM (but I assume that is going back with the 910).

I grabbed it off ebay for $55 shipped.

Any bike computer that supports ANT+ will work with your Garmin sensors (including, even, an iPhone with a Wahoo adapter).

As someone mentioned, for a more "bike computer" than watch setup, consider the quick release kit.

+1

No data downloads but it's a nice display (also has a mode to display HR and Cadence along with speed).
