The show's been on for 50 years and I just NOW discovered it.  I'm hooked.

This show gave me nightmares as a kid.
Didn't stop me watching each week, usually from a vantage point behind the sofa (literally).

My daughter came home from college the other day and subjected the family to hours of the show….I found it hard to follow and am NOT a fan--and I usually love British tv….but truthfully British comedy is my favorite. (Monty Python, Are You Being Served, a few others)

I thought about buying my wife a t-shirt for Christmas that says "The Impossible Girl"

I saw the 50th on a nice HD 3d tv on Saturday and last night in the theater. It still a great film.

New Who fan here. Started watching on Netflix with Eccleston as the Doctor. Just started series 7. My ten year old son is hooked now. We went to the theater to watch the Day of the Doctor with a ton of other Whovians. Two stadium seating theaters packed to the rafters with Whovians, many in costume.

And yes, bowties, stetsons and fezs are cool.

Weeping Angels scare the bejeezus ouf of my son.

I have been faithfully watching since I was kid and it was all re-runs. When it started back up in 2005 (?) I could not wait and have been eagerly watching ever since. I even managed to my wife mostly hooked on it as well. I love the diversity of characters and cannot wait to see what happens in the christmas special and where they go from here. The real question is: Time Lords are only supposed to have 13 incarnations (12 regeneration cycles) and we are almost at the end of that line so I am curious to see if they will break that rule, find a loop hole or what will occur.

Saturday's episode was fantastic!

I grew up catching an episode here and there back in the 80's.
The curly-haired Dr. Who with the scarf and droids that looked like garbage cans.
I really liked the intro. music and the show was pretty trippy from what I can remember...

I haven't tried the Dr. Who new stuff because I hate going out of order. Would ya'll recommend I go all the way back to start? Do the stories overlap? Are the new episodes just retreads of the old series? Just curious.

The doctor says not to run again. Ever. Needless to say, I’m not taking this very well. Can I recover from this? Where should I go from here?

My doctor says 140bpm HR is my max, but that feels like a walk in the park... I don't know what to do, how to train, and my motivation is waning. Any suggestions?
