Nude Australlian's "Athens Dream" pictures

haha, just had to put the nude part in.... figured it might draw some more attention to the post and make it more fun..

but seriously... i saw something on TV last nite about how several australian olympians had posed nude for a magazine. From what i've read and seen(which isnt much b'c i'm at work currently) they seem to be pretty tastefully done photos.. http://www.studiomagazines.com/htdocs/athensdream/main.htm

The commentators on the CN8 show (where i first learned about the photographs) were talking about how awful it was and how they were just trying to create publicity (whether negative or positive) to try and promote themselves/the olympic games. Here are my thoughts..

1) I would much rather drool over the body of any olympian instead of some silicone injected g-string wearing playboy model
2)it would be great if women started trying to look more like olympic athletes instead of playboy models... and that'd have AMAZING affects on american girls self image as well as thier overall health.
3) As long as its tasefully done, and isnt something out of penthouse... i'm all for nude photography, b'c the human body is a truly beautiful thing, especially in the case of these finely tuned machines that we call olympians.
