Well, i'm in So Cal so I had the best weather. Actually, our concern is the lack of rain this winter. Hardly any training but I did finish my first IM in April and just relaxing since then.
My run and swim volumes were down a bit from last month, but the bike was up. It's all relative though. I averaged 1.4 hrs/day of training for the month.
In March I did 4 hours of running and no swimming or biking, so this is a big improvement for me! (However in March I did have lots of hours of skiing and hockey!)
I doubled my outside bike hours in April, as the weather allowed it, and to prepare for racing. However, I cut back my running to paltry amounts to compensate. I ended with:
