Subject: RE: Frederick Half Marathon : Official ThreadI vote easier on the knees or other "impact" prone sites... tougher on the ankles (twist/roll danger )... and toughest on the heart, lungs, quads, and calves  I am a big believer in the benefits of a technical run that engages some different lower leg/stability muscles for long term injury prevention... if you can avoid spraining the ankles in the process. PVSP requires active concentration, which I am prone to being lazy about when engaged in coversation... especially with people behind me. All that said, come on out. There are several "bail here" options that will cut some distance off of various loops. |
